REGULATION UPDATES January 1st, 2011 - Transfer pricing regulation update As of January 1st, 2011, French subsidiaries owned more than 50% by an international group which turnover exceeds MEUR 400 will have to comply with stricter transfer pricing documentation rules. They must be able to present at first request - usually the first day of a tax control - a thorough and detailed documentation supporting the transfer pricing policy. |

Failure
to comply with this new rule would normally result in a 5% fine based
upon an administration estimate of the margin transferred to
the group.
Companies with tax-loss positions would no be left harmless. |
